Muhammad Yunus
Born in bathua,chitaggong,Bangladesh.He studied at Dhaka university from (1957-1961) then joined Chittagong college as lecturer in ther as a lecturer of economics, and later he gaining a Fulbright scholarship to study at Vanderbilt university,USA.and in this university he get his doctorate on 1969.and from 1969 untuil 1972 he was an assistant professor of economics at middle tenesse state university before moving back to Bangladesh to joined Chittagong university as an economics professor.
He start to fight all causes of poverty in his country, following of this causes is a famine of citizen in Bangladesh.And to fight this poverty he start to develop the concept of microfinance.and the realization of this microfinance concept is the extension of small loans to all poor citizens and this concept of microfinance is to fight the traditional bank which the traditional banks have maked things difficult for all poor citizen of Bangladesh. So Muhammad yunus develop this microfinance concept,and the end of realization of this concept is founded the Grameen bank and this grameen bank is the base foundation to fight poverty. And this concept of microfinance have amazing result and amazing response of international public.he had reached rearly 2.2 milion families ini 22 countries which used his conception. This is the amazing achievement of new economical conception. And this amazing achievement too is the reason why he awarded the nobel prize at 2006 with the grameen bank.the reason of this award is ‘For their efforts to create economic and social development from below’.
Muhammad Yunus has raised a poverty to high degree.he smashed the conception, that poverty blocked economical development.he proofed that wrong conception with other conception he has made,named by Microfinance. He established the grameen bank to realize his microfinance conception.
And other his concepton is the definition that the concept of establishment is the complex changing,and he trust that the established of one country will be difficult if a poor man allowed to just as a receiver of alms not as a receiver of capital to start working. he think,that was some effect and motivation of giving debt to poorman and this giving damaged all poor men.
“a poor men is clever,they need is access” he said when explain the conception of garment bank for a beggar at 2003. He trust, that alms will take a spirit of a poor men and will lost their creativity,and take their honor . this is the motivation of muhamad yunus to established the grameen bank.it’s to give a capital to a poor men to start working not asking or receiving a debt.
And Muhammad yunus trust that a poverty will lost if they life in an environment which allowed them to develop their creativity to working and do some effort. And other his conception of economic is Social business entrepeneurship (SBE). This SBE is the opposite of Corporate social responsibility (CSR). The base of SBE is consciousness of sociality,not as a maximal profit.
This the story of struggle from Muhammad Yunus.the winner Nobel prize of economic and social development.it’s the beautiful story and the had struggle to change he wordl of poverty.
